About Us

The Hradecká Letecká Servisní s.r.o. (HLS) company was founded in 2008 by Vlastimil Novák and Aleš Kurka as a small aircraft maintenance company. Due to the highest quality of work performed and due to its high proficiency, very soon it became a sought-after service center for the maintenance of piston-powered airplanes of manufacturers (Cessna, Piper) dominating the market in those days. However, the visions of the two founders moved the company forward. In 2010 and 2011 HLS expanded its approvals with Piper Meridian turboprop aircraft and also with Cirrus aircraft, which was not a well-known brand in the Czech Republic at that time. Maintenance and repairs of the Cirrus aircraft soon became the flagship product of HLS, which resulted in HLS becoming a Cirrus Authorized Service Center in 2015. In 2018, after completing the appropriate trainings, HLS extended its approvals with Daher's TBM turboprop aircraft. HLS's work on the TBM did not go unnoticed, and in 2022 HLS obtained the authorization from Daher for this highly progressive and powerful aircraft – HLS became a TBM Authorized Service Center (ASC). This created the best possible foundation for TBM in the Czech Republic. In 2022, the approvals  extended with Bristell aircraft, thus HLS suitably completed its portfolio of offered services. Shortly after HLS was launched, it began to strive to build a professional foundation. This effort resulted in the construction of HLS’s own modern hangar at Hradec Králové Airport in 2019. After its commissioning in 2020, HLS moved both its office and its headquarters here, becoming one of the most modern and best-equipped service centers in the Czech Republic.
